Revelation chapters 15 to 18 ask us one clear and searching question:“Which kingdom are you building your life on right now?”
1. God’s Judgment Is Not Emotion, but Holiness
In chapter 15, we see the people of God praising. This is just before judgment—but heaven is not filled with fear; it is filled with worship.
Why?Because God’s judgment is not a sudden mood swing or an emotional outburst. It is the result of God’s holy character.
God does not ignore evil forever. He is patient—but He is never passive. His judgment flows from His holiness.
2. An Unrepentant Heart Confirms Judgment
In chapter 16, the bowl judgments are poured out.And here is the shocking part:even in great suffering, people do not repent.
They do not cry out to God. They curse Him.
So let me ask you:Is suffering the real problem?Or is it a hardened heart that refuses to bow, even in suffering?
God always warns before He judges. But when warnings are ignored, judgment is no longer a choice—it becomes the result.
3. Babylon Is a System
In chapters 17 and 18, Babylon is not just a city.It is a system—a world that says, “We can live just fine without God.”
Money. Power. Pleasure. Success.
A structure that claims God is unnecessary.
But God declares,“In one hour it will fall.”
What looks strong in the world’s eyes is only temporary in God’s sight.
4. Do Not Bet Your Life on a Falling Kingdom
In chapter 18, merchants and kings weep. Why? Because everything they trusted in disappears in a moment.
But heaven rejoices.
Why? Because what belongs to God can never be shaken.
Revelation 15–18 shows us two kingdoms:
One is impressive, powerful, and guaranteed to fall.
The other looks weak on the outside, but it is eternal.
So let me ask you again:Where are your time, energy, devotion, and direction invested?
Do not invest your life in Babylon.Invest your life in the eternal Kingdom of God.
Because the kingdom ruled by Godis the only kingdom that will remain.
Amen.
